How Can New Year's Eve be More Sustainable?

How Can New Year's Eve be More Sustainable?

The biggest thing you can do on this New Year's Eve is to set a goal of going green next year. However, you should start following green practices, but you can also influence others to follow your lifestyle.

With that being said, let's discuss some of the simplest ways in which you can celebrate your New Year's Eve more sustainably.

      Plan Your Menu Choices

Have a proper plan for your menu. Don't just throw everything on the table all at once. Try to serve the main course first and then bring the next meal when the main course is done. Similarly, bring the dessert when the second meal is finished.

Moreover, you can also think of different ways to reduce food waste. It's significant to save food because it takes a lot of resources for food to get in your fridge.

      Discourage the Fireworks

The chemicals used in the fireworks are very dangerous and toxic. They're also known to be carcinogenic. The emission of CO2 and other harmful gases due to fireworks is just another source of destroying nature.

The fireworks not only pollute the air but also pollute the land. The debris of the fireworks seep into the soil and cause land pollution. Moreover, it has also been observed that the gases from the fireworks remain in the air for days after the celebration.

So, avoid being a part of such a celebration and always discourage it.

      Decorations

For the New Year's Eve celebration, you can choose to use Christmas decorations. You don't have to buy new items for decoration. You can choose some eco-friendly decoration pieces to decorate your New Year Eve with your loved ones.

You can also ask your friends to bring their old decoration pieces. Moreover, you can also plan to decorate your surroundings on a jungle theme. It would cost you some branches and leaves from the backyard.

      Eco-Friendly Party Dinnerware

Parties are incomplete without food. We've already discussed planning your menus but 'how to decorate your table' is a different story.

Your table setting should look decent and green. There's only one greenway to serve your food in front of guests, and that's with eco-friendly dinnerware.

You need to serve your food in fancy biodegradable dinnerware so that the charm of New Year Eve remains there, and the responsibility of taking green steps also gets entertained.

We provide all-natural and sustainable dinnerware for New Year to let you celebrate it in greenways. Our environmental disposable plate set comes in different sizes, which can help you serve different meals more sustainably.

For New Year's Eve, we offer palm leaf dinnerware value set at a discounted price. Our value sets include all the possible eco-friendly dinnerware items that you need to throw an eco-friendly party.

Our dinnerware series is not only limited to plates, but we also offer every single dinnerware item, and surprisingly, every item is made naturally. The palm leaf plates and sugarcane bagasse plates are just a few examples of what we offer.

Environment-Friendly Tips for the Winter Party Season

Environment-Friendly Tips for the Winter Party Season

Throwing an environment-friendly winter party is much easier than you think. It’s not all about what you do - it’s about how you do it. A Christmas party can be celebrated in different ways. Now, it’s your choice whether or not you choose sustainable ways to celebrate.

      Revise Your Decoration Plan

You might be thinking of getting some plastic balloons and some banners to show that you’re celebrating Christmas. Well, it will only create more plastic waste at the end of the day.

However, you can change the way you decorate your stuff. You can use paper banners or bunting to write anything you’d love to decorate your Christmas surroundings.

      Sending Electronic Invitations

You don’t have to send them custom-made letters for invitations to a party. You can use electronic mediums - any platform will do the work.

However, you can choose different formal platforms if your guests are from the office, but if you’re inviting your close friends, try to invite them informally.

You can also choose from different templates available online. Moreover, you can also customize them with exciting designs.

      Prefer Local Shopping

Shopping from a local store not only saves you time but also helps reduce CO2 emissions. Let me tell you how. The food items that usually come to most supermarkets are from different cities. But at local stores, you’d only find things that are locally produced.

So, shopping locally will automatically discourage the supply of food coming from the far-distant cities. It boosts the local economy as well, which is good for the overall economy of a country.

      Plan About Leftover Food

Having a shortage of food on the table while guests are still eating is one of the biggest embarrassments. That is why we often overcook, and after the party, the food is leftover.

You need to come up with a proper plan of how to manage your leftover food. You can save it for dinner or lunch for the next day.

You shouldn’t put all your food on the table at once, especially not the dessert. Let your guests eat what’s being served first and then serve the dessert. It’s kind of a smart play to minimize food wastage.

      Encourage Eco-Friendly Gifts

In the winter season, parties are most commonly celebrated by giving gifts. Make sure that your gifts are not detrimental to the environment.

The decoration or wrapping of the gifts is mostly made of plastic that is definitely going to become a part of the landfill. You can just use eco-friendly wrappers to wrap your gifts.

      Serve in Eco-Friendly Dinnerware

Whatever you serve, serve it sustainably. You can choose to have the best palm leaf plates for your Christmas party, or you can get biodegradable sugarcane bagasse plates for serving the main course.

Our bio disposable plates can make your winter parties more fun and eco-friendly. You can also get our eco-friendly compostable plates in bundles that are usually easy on the budget. Our value offers are for different party settings that you’d love to have a look at.

      Tips for a Plastic-Free Christmas

      Tips for a Plastic-Free Christmas

Christmas is one of the biggest sources of producing plastic pollution. According to research, the extra plastic that is produced due to Christmas weighs around 5 Statue of Liberty.

It seems quite detrimental that our ill practices are making Christmas one of the biggest reasons for polluting the environment. Plastic is already damaging life under the sea, and we can’t afford more.

We need to come up with a revised social strategy to bring a change in how we celebrate Christmas. So, here are some of the tips for you to go green and celebrate a plastic-free Christmas.

      Choose a Real Christmas Tree

Christmas trees are majorly made with plastic, and once Christmas is over, these piles of plastics become part of the landfills that are already filled with other types of plastics.

So, it’s better to shift towards a real Christmas tree and avoid the ones made from plastic at any cost. You can make your own Christmas tree by using different wooden planks. You can also use bamboo sticks to create a tree-like shape and fill it with green LED strips.

There are hundreds of different ways to create your very own Christmas tree. What about using the one in your backyard? You don’t really have to bring it indoors, right? You can decorate your Christmas tree outside but make sure that your decoration is also eco-friendly and plastic-free.

      Collect Natural Objects for Decorations

Pines can be a great option to choose from. You can collect them and use them to decorate anything, even your Christmas tree. You can also use them to create a specific jungle theme.

Their texture and color make them pop out in any setting. You can also use them to create wreaths. So, no need to buy plastic wreaths that don’t even look good. Using pine cones can be a great way to reduce plastic usage this Christmas.

      Consider Switching to Eco-Friendly Dinnerware

The plastic dinnerware items are also purchased quite abundantly on Christmas. Having guests over a party means doing the dishes is going to get frustrating. So, people usually prefer to use plastic dinnerware items to minimize the hassle of the party.

But this hassle can also be minimized by using eco-friendly dinnerware items. You can get disposable eco cutlery at very cheap rates, and they’re quite good at holding your food. They don’t get bent with the weight of the food. However, you should use them only once since they absorb water.

We offer a compostable birch flatware series that is made with birch only. Our biodegradable cutlery sets are mainly made up of birch wood that’s quite eco-friendly in nature. Our eco-friendly Christmas cutlery only takes 60 days to get decomposed naturally. So, shifting to a greener and sustainable option can be a great way to reduce plastic consumption on Christmas.

      Boycott Plastic Gifts

You can also avoid plastic packaging for gifts and go with eco-friendly ones. You can use Kraft Papers to wrap your gifts. You can also use a fancy cloth piece to wrap it in lovely, unique, and exciting ways.

We’ve gathered some delicious and unique recipes for vegan Christmas cookies. You can try a mix of these recipes to serve a variety of vegan cookies in front of your nature-loving guests.

The fact that vegan desserts aren’t delicious is just a myth. Our vegan recipes are made only with vegetables and fruits, so nothing to worry about.

Therefore, let’s start with our first recipe, that’s an all-time favorite, “Vegan Chocolate Chip Cookies”.

      Vegan Chocolate Chip Cookie

This vegan chocolate chip cookie is very easy to prepare since it only takes 20 minutes. Start by preheating the oven to 350°. Add ⅓ cups brown sugar and granulated sugar, ¼ cup non-dairy unsweetened milk, ⅔ cup vegetable oil or canola, and 1 tablespoon cornstarch in a large bowl and whisk for 2 minutes. Add 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract and whisk again.

In the same bowl, add ½ cup flour, ½ tablespoon baking soda, and ½ tablespoon kosher salt and mix the ingredients thoroughly until they perfectly get fused.

In the end, add 1 cup of vegan chocolate chips, or use chopped pieces of vegan chocolate.

Cover the baking sheets with parchment paper and use a cookie scoop to spread the batter (mixture) to create cookies. Make sure they are the standard size - otherwise, it wouldn’t taste good.

Bake them for 15 minutes or until they become golden. Turn off the oven, let them sit there for 10 minutes, and transfer them in biodegradable palm leaf bowls to let them cool.

Using eco-friendly disposable bowls is quite important. You might not want to be the one producing plastic waste by using plasticware items. You can choose from different sizes of fancy palm leaf bowls to inspire your servings.

      Vegan Danish Butter Cookies

This vegan danish butter cookie recipe takes only 35 minutes to prepare. You’ve to preheat your oven at 180°. In a large bowl, take 200 grams of dairy-free butter and mix it with icing sugar to create a buttercream.

In the same bowl, add 310 grams plain flour, 1 tablespoon cornstarch (mixed with 2 tablespoon water), and 2 tablespoons vanilla extract, and mix the mixture well.

Cover your baking sheet with greaseproof paper and start making cookie shapes with the mixture you just made.

Bake it for 15 minutes or until golden. Let the cookies cool for 10 minutes and sprinkle them with white sugar to decorate them.

      Vegan Chocolate Cookies

Preheat the oven to 180°. Mix half cup white sugar with half cup vegan butter. In another bowl, mix 1 cup flour, ⅔ cup Cocoa powder, add baking soda and salt, 1 tablespoon soy milk for extra thickness. The mixture is ready to go on an oven ride.

You can also add more chocolate chips before putting your mixture in the oven.

Bake the cookies for 10 minutes. Don’t worry, your cookies won’t get thick, but they’ll become softer after you let them cool. Take them out of the oven and let them sit to cool, and you’ll be surprised to see that they become more software as they cool down.

Biodegradable Dinnerware for a Green Christmas

Biodegradable Dinnerware for a Green Christmas

Christmas, most of the time, is about preparing a tablescape. No doubt, decorating a Christmas tree has its charisma, but believe it or not, it’s ultimately about how good your food was presented and how was its taste.

So, make sure you’ve done a great amount of homework to properly plan how to present items on the table and what exactly to present.

However, there are countless recipes you can try to make your Christmas go viral, but you need to double-check your way of presenting food on the table.

      Go Eco-Friendly Theme

Being a responsible citizen, you need to think of mother nature. The Christmas gatherings and parties generate 25% more waste than usual. So, make sure you’re actively participating in reducing this waste by taking green steps.

The awareness of going green among the general public is there, but their actions are still against this ideology, and that’s what hurts the most.

So, avoid using more plastic in your party decoration. Rather, go with eco-friendly and green decoration options available in the market right now.

      Eco-Friendly Dinnerware Items

No matter what you prepare to serve in front of your guests, you need to be using eco-friendly dinnerware options.

Yes, such items exist in the market. Many people are unaware of these eco dinnerware sets. The reason can be the lack of interest or knowledge about these eco-friendly options.

We provide disposable eco plate sets that can be used to make any party hassle-free. You won’t have to make certain arrangements for cleaning the dishes afterward. Our naturally chic dinnerware sets can be disposed of quite conveniently without worrying about environmental pollution.

It takes only 60 days of the period for these items to get decomposed.

      Eco-Friendly Serving Ware

For this purpose, we offer serving ware items that can come quite handy in serving the main course. You can also use our sugarcane bagasse plates for a proper food presentation.

      Eco-Friendly Flatware

Moreover, we also provide eco-friendly flatware series, including eco-friendly spoons, knives, and forks. It’s a common myth, which people ask quite frequently, and that’s about the flexibility and strength of the flatware.

We prepare these flatware items by initially gathering the fallen palm leaves, then we clean them and press them to create desired shapes. The strength of our flatware series is quite reasonable, which means that the spoon or fork won’t bend with the weight of the food.

If you’re comparing it with the strength of a steel one, then that’s not what this product is meant for. We’ve crafted flatware items to make sure that our customers get what they’re expecting from our brand, and that’s nature-friendliness.

Along with palm leaf flatware, we offer a complete range of elegant palm leaf dinnerware that are 100% compostable in nature. Surprisingly, we have a bunch of great offers for you to try this Christmas. You can visit our value set section to buy eco-friendly items in bulk at very reasonable and cheap prices.
