Beautiful and Eco-friendly Mother's Day Gift Idea
Let’s face it - there is no one like Mom. And with Mother's Day right around the corner, it's a perfect time to think about how to make her feel special. After all, Moms are a bit superhuman: they give us life, provide us a shoulder to cry on, they listen to us complains, they share their wisdom to help us navigate the world, and they praise our accomplishments since, well day one. If you think about it a little deeper, you'll find that Mother Nature does the same. Therefore, this Mother's Day, show your love and gratitude with a conscious gift that will make your Mom happy while keeping Earth happy too.
When we think of this occasion, we usually think about lively spring colors and fresh flowers. We pulled these two pieces together to create a perfect gift for your Mom that will show her just how much you appreciate everything she does! Anything made with love is a win in her eyes - that's why you can be sure that this Mother's Day DIY project will win your mom's heart and remind her how much she is loved!
Flowers are practically the default present for Mother's Day, but the global flower production industry has a massive environmental footprint, due to plastic packaging waste, the use of harsh chemicals and pesticides, and transportation emissions, that's why homegrown flowers are a much better option. So get out some paint and your little helpers, contact your local organic florist for homegrown flowers, decorate the pots with this super easy DIY project, and get ready to make a wonderful gift that is sure to put a smile on your mom's face. Simple, beautiful, and useful!

Now Pull Some Inspiration:
Figure out what colors you want to use, and think about what you want to paint and write on the pot before you get started.
Let's start:
Step 1: First of all, gently sandpaper your pot to smooth out the surfaces and then wash it with water to remove all the dust.
Step 2: Once it is dry and ready, the fun begins – get creative and paint it using your favorite colors.
Step 3: When the paint is dry – apply patterns, for example, 'MOM' (like this one) using a black marker pen and again wait a little bit for it to dry well before you paint the inside of the letters.
Step 4: You might also want to seal the pot, using a good coat of clear acrylic sealer on the surfaces, to prevent the paint from being washed out when you water it.
Step 5: After about 24 hours, it will be ready to dress your plant!
Enjoy! This little beauty will look fantastic, and your Mom will be thrilled!
