Are you looking for Halloween-themed foods for a scary, fun feast? You are at the right spot!
You might already have prepared yourself for Halloween by decorating your house with some Spooky ideas. But what to place on the table? Is there something that you can do with the food to bring some extra Halloween-y vibes? Is there something in the menu that can trigger or enhance the spookiness of the Halloween party?
Certainly Yes!
Shake Hand with a Meatball-Hand
This meatball hand is going to be very delicious and spooky as well. The recipe to make this meatball hand is very simple.
Add 4 slices of white bread to a bowl and add 1 fine-chopped onion in it. Take another bowl and add 40grams of toasted pine nuts, 50grams of grated Parmesan, 2 tablespoons of grounded Fennel seeds, half teaspoon black pepper, 6 - 8 cloves of crushed Garlic, 2 yolks, 1 white egg, and season it with 2 tablespoons of salt. Add 1kg of Beef mince and mix everything.
This is where the real magic starts. Put this mixture of beef mince with seasonings in a medical (rubber) glove and let it freeze. It would take around 12 hours to completely get frozen. Once the beef is frozen, remove the glove gently, and add fine almond flakes at the tip of the fingers and thumb to create nails.
Grill your Meatball-hands for 15 minutes at medium heat, and you’re done with your creepy-looking hands. You can add some ketchup or chili garlic sauce to a serving eco-friendly plate to make it look more bloody.
Vanilla Pump-Kake
This vanilla pumpkin-shaped cake would look amazing on your table. All you have to do is to follow our recipe to make this delicious cake at home.
Add a tablespoon of cinnamon in vanilla batter, half tablespoon of ground ginger, 1 tablespoon of allspice, and mix the batter well. Put this batter in two different bundts to make two separate cake sides. Bake the bundts at 350F or 180C for 35 minutes straight.
For the second batter, you can do some fun. Add red and yellow food colors in the batter and mix it well. Cover the cake that you’ve just made in bundts, and add m&ms in the middle of it so that when anyone cuts the cake, your guests would love this creativity.
It’s not finished yet, take the extra batter to cover the entire cake and let your inner artist wake up to craft some crazy art on it with a knife. You can add cuts similar to that of a pumpkin to make a cake look like a pumpkin. In the end, you can add a stem of the pumpkin with the help of an ice-cream cone colored in green. Make sure to serve your cake with eco-friendly party supplies in order to keep the environment safe.
You might have noticed that in our second recipe, we haven’t targeted the spooky domain of Halloween, because we believe that there’s a lot more towards the concept of Halloween. So, having a pumpkin-looking cake (pump-cake) can make your table look more attractive and delicious as well.
