Green Bean Casserole
Green Bean Casserole is one of the special recipes that you most commonly see in a Thanksgiving feast. Surprisingly, it takes only 10 minutes to prepare this dish.
Boil the green beans in a large pot for about 5 minutes until bright green. Take them out, give them an ice bath to cool down, and rinse them off in another pot. Fry an onion in a pan with 2 tablespoons of Butter. Add mushrooms when the onion is tender. When mushrooms become tender, add 1 tablespoon of garlic paste and cook for 1 more minute for that perfect aroma.
Add the mixture into the boiled green beans and in the same pan, melt 4 tablespoons of butter, whisk in ¼ cup flour, and cook for 2 minutes until golden. Gradually add 3 cups milk, add salt and pepper as seasoning, and cook until thickened.
Turn off the stove, add the green bean mixture and mix it well. Preheat the oven to 350° and bake it for 30 minutes until bubbles form. It’s Ready!
