Vegan Catering Serving
There’s a lot you can do to make your vegan table look epic. There are so many variations from different regions of the world that are vegan servings and would make your party look cool. But today, we’re going to have a look at how to make the world’s most historic, delicious, and vegan recipe for you to try at your next vegan party.
Vegetable Samosas
Samosas are very popular in South Asian countries, especially in the subcontinent. It’s one of the most traditional recipes and has an enriched taste. Having Samosas on your dinner table will bring some nice change to your menu if you haven’t tried it yet.
-
Prepare Filling
To make Samosas, you need to prepare the filling and the pastry. For the filling, chop one onion finely and boil two potatoes. Mix the spices of your own choice, and don’t forget to add coriander. If you don’t like it, you can skip it, but believe us - coriander can literally change the game.
Make sure you mash only half of the potatoes and just cube-cut the rest. Heat one tablespoon of vegetable oil in a pan and simmer for 15 mins only.
-
Prepare Pastry
To make the dough, you need 220grams of flour with a pinch of salt in it. Add 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil and add 100ml of water and knead the dough until it becomes smooth and firm. Make small balls of the pastry and let it rest for 30 mins.
-
Procedure
Roll out in a circle of 15cm and divide it in half to make two separate coverings for the filling to sit in. Make a cone shape with the rolled-out dough and put the filling in it. Seal the edges of the pastry with a thin water-flour mixture.
Heat the oil to 180C in a large saucepan and deep fry the Samosas until brown. Drain out the extra oil, and serve them well.
Going Vegan is Eco-friendly
The way how you serve your food matters a lot. So, when you serve your vegan Samosas, make sure you’re using biodegradable dinnerware. Going vegan and going green are two interchangeable terms. So, having compostable palm leaf plates, palm leaf bowls, and disposable leaf trays, can make your eco-friendly leaf dinnerware complete.
Spending so much time thinking about what you prepare in the menu and actually preparing a vegan meal would go in vain if you use some non-recyclable plastic dinnerware items.
That is why we recommend that you should focus on having some biodegradable dinnerware sets on the table.
